Microsoft has yet to release a version of TweakUI for Vista. However a combination of two other programs will achieve most of what those who rely on TweakUI expect.
1. Get TweakVista from http://www.tweakvista.com/
2. Use the original TweakUI for Windows 95, which installs and works mostly correctly on Vista.
Install 1 and use the UAP tab to turn off all the new UAP stuff. This can make life much simpler for those who tire quickly of seeing the Allow prompts for almost anyting one wants to do in Vista.
You can then use 2 to, among other things, do an auto logon to Vista for each boot.

TWeakUI for Vista
Is there a version of TweakUI for Vista? I'd like to get rid of the arrows on the Desktop shortcuts.
Joe
Not yet - but soon :o) Probably after RTM.

To remove the "Shortcut Arrows" go to both these keys...
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\LNKFILE
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PIFFILE
And delete the the entry that says 'IsShortcut' in BOTH keys. Then log off and back on. You can export and save each key beforehand as to be able to reverse any actions.

Thanks - however, the arrow still shows up on Internet Shortcuts. Any idea on how to get rid of the arrow on those?

Thanks - I don't understand why MS keeps those arrows. Must be the same people who set a default sound for Start Navigation.
